Why does your regular doctor not prescribe alternative cancer treatments?

If you have cancer ...

If you have been diagnosed with cancer your immediate thoughts go to "what can I do about it?" Your doctor will offer his opinion and present options that you logically assume are the best that are available. You have lived your life, trusting the system, not realizing that the system is biased to support the economic interests of the providers and not necessarily the best interests of the patient. It is estimated that every cancer patient is worth a half million dollars to the industry by the time the patient dies following their last chemotherapy treatment.

You may be offered surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Sometimes you will be offered the additional support of immune system supporting drugs. This is all you'll likely be offered and you will believe that that this is all there is.

Alternative medicine offers very effective, inexpensive, and safe options that you can provide for yourself and that you are not likely to know about. This information is suppressed because it is competition to the cancer industry. Alternative treatments often show immediate results, resulting in the remission in a few months or even a few days. Some alternative treatments that are offered by special hospitals and clinics are not self administered, are relatively expensive, and are often less effective than treatments available to the patient to use at home. There are special exceptions, but this is generally true.

I had a very extensive cancer and it was gone in 10 days. I have a friend who was in remission in three weeks. People are routinely in full remission in as little as two months. A few may require a year or more. Dr. Christopher, the famous herbalist of 50 years ago, said that some people seem to be destined to die of cancer regardless of what treatments are used. From experience, my estimation is that 80% of cancer patients will achieve a good recovery if they are able to follow a good alternative plan. Some may perish, but all of my acquaintances were benefited by extending their lives for years longer than the life expectancy given to them by conventional health services.

This often causes great distress among conventional practitioners, giving rise to such attitudes and comments as, "You were improperly diagnosed, you never had cancer." "It was a 'spontaneous remission and had nothing to do with what you are doing." I don't know what happened, but whatever it was, it was the result of my treatment and not yours." etc.

If you don't understand the difference between conventional and alternative medicine, you are subject to many errors that will defeat your purpose. Your determination may be weakened as you listen to the advice of family members and friends who really have your best interests at heart but don't understand .

In this report I will describe the situation in conventional health care. This information is widely known among alternative providers, but is avoided by the media.

Economics of the cancer industry.

Naturally, people in business for profit, professionals such as doctors, have dedicated a large portion of their lives in acquiring the skills, and they expect to have a good return on their investment. They expect to earn a good living, pay back their student loans, and live a good life.

One technique of economic success is to confront competition with wherever economic. social, and legal resources that are available. When competitive business practices are used in selling automobiles, for instance, we understand it. We know that there is a certain amount of sales 'hype' which is 'normal' and we see through it. When the same methods are applied to products and services that affect our health and our very life, we are not aware because the competition because the sources for alternative medical treatment do not enjoy the acceptance and publication through media that are enjoyed by conventional medicine.

As recently reported by high government officials, there is concern over the biased support of the FDA for the large pharmaceutical houses to the exclusion of other viable providers. Drug manufacturers are allowed to spend only $200 per physician per year and this must consist of educational materials only. This system is completely out of control with drug companies spending thousands of dollars every year on each physician with such 'educational' items as vacations, dinners, and golf clubs.

This practice is defended by claiming that the doctors are not influenced by these extravagances, "They are smarter than that ." We know that these large 'for profit' companies are not foolish in the spending of their money. They are certain of a large return on their investment or they wouldn't do it.

Following is a portion paraphrased from a newsletter published by Dr. Ron Kennedy M. D.on July 19th in 2002.

“If we examine the methods practiced by the most widely respected clinician of time, Sir William Orsler, we discover that he practiced what now is considered to 'alternative' medicine. The pharmaceutical industry effectively owns conventional medicine lock. stock, and barrel’".

The competition faced by the drug manufacturers is the inroads inexpensive, effective, and non-patentable alternative medicine as they undercut the market for the expensive patented drugs.

As an example of the collusion and methods used by the Drug manufacturers - FDA consortium and the Lane laboratories, suppliers of MGN3, a potent alternative weapon against cancer.

Dr. David Williams, in one of his newsletters a few years ago, announced this product and said that advantage should be taken of its availability before the combined efforts of the drug manufacturers and the FDA took the product off the market.

Dr. Stephen Bartrett, M.D., a prolific writer for Quackwatch, a militant anti-alternative arm of conventional medicine, says on his website; guackwatch.org, the following; "It has not been demonstrated that NK cells can kill cancer cells in humans."  This is in defense of their successful lawsuit against Lane labs for making 'false' claims regarding the enhancement of NK cell activity produced by the use of MGN 3.

Further considerations;

There are some practical reasons why some of these treatments will not ever be tested and approved. One doctor pointed out to me that in some cases, it would be unethical, immoral, and illegal to test because it would require people to suffer with cancer, untreated on a placebo. Another practical limit is this; how can you conduct a double blind test comparing fresh foods to cooked foods, for instance. There is no way that the subject or their doctor (double blind) would not know what they were eating. Also, the FDA is prevented from evaluating any food as a treatment for any disease. A lot of successful alternative cancer treatments emphasize diet and fresh foods as part of their protocol.

With the control of our medical schools through endowments, influence on physicians by using expensive gifts, control of the media through their strangle hold on media advertising, (If you report good things about alternative medicine, they will withdraw their advertising,) and with the support of the government through the FDA, there is little hope for alternative medicine and alternative cancer treatment to reach a normal level of public recognition and acceptance.

This is marketing at its best. and health care at its worst. It is the patient that pays the price.
